This class will start inside the nature center where we will go over the rules & ethics of foraging followed by a brief discussion of books I recommend to advance your knowledge of edible wild plants. Then we will head outside and spend the rest of the time looking at and tasting the many edible plants available. Most of the outside class time will be on paved paths but towards the end we may also be on dirt trails. Please keep this in mind if you have limited mobility.

Also please note, foraging at this location is ONLY allowed during my classes. Harvesting plants at the nature preserve at any other time is forbidden.
