Edna, TX July 27th, 2013

Location: Jackson County Services Building at 411 N Wells St, Edna, TX 77957
Time: 2pm-3:30pm

Free class, no registration is necessary.

This will be a lecture-type class in the auditorium, though I will have many plants along to show. A question-and-answer session will take place after the presentation and guests will be encouraged to examine the displayed plants more closely. The class will cover the rules and ethics of foraging, recommended books to learn more, and lots of edible wild plants currently in season.

N. Wells Street is also known as Hwy 111, and the Jackson County Services Building is about 6 blocks from US Hwy 59 intersection. Just travel down US 59 to the State Hwy 111 exit for Edna (2nd Edna exit). Take that exit and go to the traffic light. Turn left, and the building is about 6 blocks down on the right side. The parking lot is in the rear, and will be quite obvious. The building is located between Cedar and Cypress streets.
